Happy New Year :)

So, december passed faster than ever, and we've entered a new decade.. It's strange to think that in a couple of months I've lived for two decades, kinda makes me sound soooo old!

I had an average christmas. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed it, but there was something missing. :)
New Year's Eve I was supposed to spend in Hammerfest with Ann-Kristin, but seeing as the bus left at 07.20AM, and me not remembering to set my alarm, I lost it >_>''
So I was at home with my mum and my sisters :)
Theo got really freaked out by all the fireworks, he literally climbed up my leg.. And afterwards i had to tricks him outside to show him it wasn't dangerous :p

School started this tuesday.. But I've spendt the last 2 weeks or something being sick.. Going to the doctor on monday.. This can't go on much further, I'm sick of staying at home!

And I've gotta apply for school next year soon.. I really wan't to try to get back south, but I have to change my adress to do that.. And to do that I've got to have an adress to change it to.. >_>
So that plan's down the drain I guess :(

MEH!


Anyways, can't sleep, woke up at 2AM (so not normal) after falling asleep at 8PM..
Read like, half a book, and started crying because it got so sad..
I love books that actually make me feel for the characters :)

Anyway's don't really got much more to say :)

The little things in life

Recently I learned about a Norwegian girl named Regine Stokke, she's been fighting cancer for 15 months.

She passed away today.

It really makes one think through your own life and realize how fortunate you are.
Most people complain about so much, and I'm one of them.. How many times haven't we been talking about those stupid assignments we get at school, how some people just "don't understand anything", or that they don't have the dress you've been saving up to buy when you finally can afford it...

We're lucky to wake up each morning and see the sun/moon shining through our window, to hear the birds sing, to be "attacked" by a superhappy dog when you get home from where ever you've been. Smell the newly cut grass or have a snowball-fight in the snow that fell last night..

All those little things we usually take for granted, family being one of them.

Somehow I'm always arguing with either my mum or my dad, but no matter how much I disagree with them I still love them with all my heart. And my sisters, they're just the most wonderful girls in the entire world! I'm lucky to have them :)
Not to forget about the rest of my family and all of my friends.

You mean the world to me.


I guess what I'm trying to say is that you have to appreciate the little things that you never really think about, and the people in your life.
Take some time to send a sms, telling them how much they mean to you, maybe they're having a bad day and the sms from you cheers them up. :)

Rest in peace Regine.

Quick update

So.. there's been a LOT going on lately.. :p
I've been working hard with Operasjon Dagsverk at my school.
It's a solidarity action by, with and for youth to raise money for youth in developing countries.
The money that was collected this year go to the organization of education for youth with disabilities in Malawi, Uganda, Mozambique and South Africa!
And at my school we worked in about 30.000 NOK!

I've also been helping out with a danceproject against bullying as assistant to the director and narrator..
Traveled with said project, got loads of great feedback too :)

Been at aleast 3 different seminars, gotten to meet new people. Leaving for a new one in Oslo tomorrow.

I've started playing flute again! Playing in two different marching bands and with some people at my school.. So I've got practises 3 times a week.. + one hour at home every day :p
Even trying to learn how to play the piccolo.. All the fingering isn't hard.. It's how I'm supposed to focus my air that's difficult..

Doing really good in school aswell.. At the moment I'm maintaining a 5+ average! (5=B) :)

Don't really know what more to say.. I'm out of words..

Ever been supposed to study or something and then you just HAVE to look at some fancy add on your computer.. or there's a strange sound you've gotta check out..

There's always so many things happening when you sit down and try to get something done :p

Awesome people!

Seminar was awesome. I learned ALOT, and made some awesome new friends!

Was sitting at the airport just waiting for our plane that left like.. 22.00.. 7 hours waiting isn't really that much fun. But when in good company D: <3

Bored!

So, I'm sitting at this seminar. And the lecture right now is seriously dry. Like, desert-type. I'd kill for a cup of coffee! And my inflatable matress has a hole in it. Yay for benches!
